Overview

What's It Like?

The Porto Mono Lace wig from the Stimulate Art Class Collection is a flattering, cropped look which is modern and stylish.

The top area of this wig is completely MONOFILAMENT, which creates the fabulous effect that the hair is coming from your own scalp. This cap also has a Lace Front which is perfect if you wish to sweep the fringe away from your forehead. This will reveal an invisible hairline without any worry of 'wig edge' showing.

The fringe measures approximately 7-8cm. The fringe has been cleverly thinned out to create a wispier effect. It will not sit too heavily against your forehead.

The side layers will fall just in front of your ears into a gentle point. Of course, you can style behind your ears if you prefer. You are in charge of your look.

The nape layers will settle just at your natural hairline. Measuring approximately 4cm. A stunning finish to this light to wear, short, cropped style. Just fabulous.

How's It Attached?

Top and Crown

The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a closed, patterned net material section. This has been expertly designed to allow the volume at this area to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping.

There is also a full, uncut LACE FRONT, which extends to the crown area. This parting creates the impression that the hair in this particular area, looks like it is coming from your own scalp. Whilst the LACE FRONT provides an undetectable finish to your look.

Temple

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. Delicately stitched onto this area, is a non slip section. This design creates a soft suction effect, at this particular area. The non slip feature is perfect for our customers who have complete hairloss.

Body

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.

Nape

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. Delicately stitched onto this area, is a non slip section. This design creates a soft suction effect, at this particular area. The non slip feature is perfect for our customers who have complete hairloss.

This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE VELCRO STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

  • Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
  • Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
  • Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

How To
Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide
De-Tangle

1. De-Tangle

Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
Shampoo

2. Shampoo

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
