What's It Like?

The Imagine wig from Natural Image is a completely natural looking wig, which is Petite, pretty and flattering to all face shapes.

Natural Image have created this piece as a Monofilament , which means that wherever you part the Imagine, she will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Monofilaments are the ultimate in comfort and realistic appearance.

The short layers have been softly feathered, creating a gentle silhouette throughout this piece. The back continues with the short look and gradually blends into the tapered nape. There is plenty of coverage if you are wearing this piece over your own hair. Take a look at the full 360 view, so that you can see how lovely this style is from every angle.

The Imagine is a pretty wig, coupled with an exquisite cap construction. Gorgeous!

How's It Attached?

Top and Crown

The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has been DOUBLE HAND TIED, aswell as being MONOFILAMENT. This extra double layer will protect your scalp from the handknotting. This will ensure that it will feel like silk against your skin, an important consideration if you are purchasing a wig due to total hair loss.

Temple

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, mesh material which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section.

Body

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.

Nape

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. There is also an extended area below. This additional feature is designed to give you more coverage at the nape. It is a soft, mesh material, which will be soft against your skin.

The wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

  • Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
  • Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
  • Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

De-Tangle

1. De-Tangle

Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
Shampoo

2. Shampoo

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
