Overview

What's It Like?

The Angela wig from the Alexander Couture collection is a beautiful, shoulder-length wig that is the perfect density if you are wishing to replicate your own hair.

The TOP area of this wig has been HAND TIED & is sheer MONOFILAMENT, so that the appearance is as natural as possible. The CROWN area has a closed, flower net material section. This small area has been designed to allow the volume at the crown to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping.

The longer fringe measures 11.5cm and can be worn swept to the side. Remember if you prefer a shorter fringe, simply visit your hairdresser for a trim. The choice is yours! The crown layers which measure 37cm are sleek and straight and have a very subtle flick towards the end to give you a natural sway and bounce.

The Angela is a striking longer length wig that is modern and very realistic looking. Gorgeous!

How's It Attached?

Top and Crown

The TOP area of this wig has been HAND TIED & is sheer MONOFILAMENT, so that the appearance is as natural as possible. The CROWN area has a closed, flower net material section. This small area has been designed to allow the volume at the crown to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping.

Temple

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The temple area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section.

Body

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.

Nape

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline.

This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

  • Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide
De-Tangle

1. De-Tangle

Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
Shampoo

2. Shampoo

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
