Overview

What's It Like?

The Aspire wig from the Gabor collection is a beautiful, pixie cut style that has a face framing fringe and lightweight cap. Perfect.

The TOP area of this wig has OPEN WEFTS. This has been expertly designed to allow the air to circulate, ensuring that it is lightweight & cooler than the traditional caps.

The fringe measures 8cm, so it will sit above brow level. This then blends perfectly into the short, side layers that will fall sweetly just in front of ear level.

Throughout the Aspire wig is lots of textured layers. It is the layers that create the versatility for this piece. The crown layers measure 9cm, so there is built in volume that will stay with you throughout the day, without dropping. The crown then blends perfectly into the back layers. Some short wigs will cling to your head and look false. The Aspire wig though softly follows your natural contour, creating a lifelike silhouette that is undetectable.

This wig finishes beautifully with the nape measuring 4cm which will blend into your natural neckline. Gabor have cleverly thinned out the nape slightly for a completely natural finish to this beautiful wig.

The Aspire wig has been designed for comfort and fuss free styling. A modern, shorter style with a feminine twist. A really, pretty piece.

Please note: Gabor wigs are ordered from the US, on a Wednesday. Deliveries are normally at our warehouses by the following Thursday. Please take this into consideration when you are purchasing.

Top and Crown

The TOP area of this wig has OPEN WEFTS. This has been expertly designed to allow the air to circulate, ensuring that it is lightweight & cooler than the traditional caps.

Temple

Here is a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED area. This design is perfect if you wear glasses, or sunglasses. This section is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin.

Body

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.

Nape

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline.

The wig is also secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head.

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
