What's It Like?

The Lily wig from the O'Solite Collection by Jon Renau is a romantic classic styles, which is full of short, curly layers.

The O'Solite collection is a perfect solution if you are finding that your wigs have too much volume. The O'Solite wigs are 50% lighter than the more traditional cap constructions. You can be confident that the O'Solite wigs will look incredibly natural and feel comfortable and lightweight all day long.

The TOP area of this wig has OPEN WEFTS. This has been expertly designed to allow the air to circulate, ensuring that it is lightweight & cooler than the traditional caps. Jon Renau have included a small NET crown section so that the volume in this particular area, will stay with you all day long.

The fringe measures at approximately 10cm which is naturally swept to the side and blends into those gorgeous, delicate curls. The layers throughout this wig are textured, giving you a more voluminous look. You can also manage the density of this style just by using styling products. Washing the wig allows the existing texture to shine through whilst twisting and adding more definition to the curls gives it more structure.

When washing, avoid brushing the curls when wet as this may cause them to lose their style and definition. Letting them dry naturally will allow them to regain their natural style. The same applies when styling, if you want to add more definition, use gels or spray as brushing may cause you to lose the soft curls.

Top and Crown

The TOP area of this wig has OPEN WEFTS. This has been expertly designed to allow the air to circulate, ensuring that it is lightweight & cooler than the traditional caps.

The TOP section also has a small NET crown section.

Temple

Here is a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED area. This design is perfect if you wear glasses, or sunglasses. This section is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin.

Body

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.

Nape

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip.

This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE tabs. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

  • Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
  • Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

De-Tangle

1. De-Tangle

Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
Shampoo

2. Shampoo

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
